The room was clean and spacious, with towels and shower essentials provided. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the pier and street food stalls. The Greek-style rooms were beautiful, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The outside private hot shower was a unique and enjoyable feature. The breakfast, though not included, was excellent and reasonably priced.

The hostel has friendly and helpful staff, clean and beautiful facilities, good Wi-Fi, and a big and comfortable common area. the breakfast is value for money and there is a night market next to the hostel for cheap dinners. You can also buy shuttle airport bus tickets nearby.

What a surprise! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the spacious and tidy bathrooms at Chanchalay Hip Hostel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hot water was a welcome bonus. The location was perfect, with easy access to the night market, cafes, supermarkets, and banks. The staff, especially Pin at the reception, spoke excellent English and provided me with helpful guidance on getting around. Despite the noise from the street, I had a peaceful night's sleep in my room. I had a pleasant stay at this hostel.

Thenice and neat rooms, along with the friendly and helpful staff, made our stay enjoyable. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like limited lighting in the room, we highly recommend this hostel. we had a great experience and would gladly stay here again.

We were impressed by the spacious double room and beautiful Greek isles-inspired decor. The open-air shower and shared outdoor space added to the overall charm. The location was great, with a night market just around the corner offering amazing and affordable food.

Felt that the street-facing room could be noisy due to loud scooters passing by. Earplugs were necessary.

Friendly and Helpful Staff

The staff were pretty good too make my trip enjoyable. They helped me book tours, provided me with a delicious breakfast before my tour, and always had a clean towel ready for the beach. The knowledge and assistance of the staff made my trip lovely.

The room I stayed in was quite small, and the bed was not very comfortable. there was some noise disturbance at night from people outside and generator type noise, which made it difficult to sleep peacefully.

I recently stayed at Chanchalay Hip Hostel for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms had lovely details and were very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower with warm water. The location was perfect, with easy access to the boat pier and close proximity to the central area and food market. The cafe in the front of the hostel provided a great space for breakfast. a fantastic stay!

For the price we paid, we got great value for our money. The room was beautifully decorated in a blue/white combination, giving it a seaside feel. The bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff treated us friendly and were always helpful. The whole place felt homely and we would definitely stay here again given the chance.

Food for breakfast could be improved with a better selection of beverages, rather than just instant coffee.

I appreciated having both a stand fan and AC, as it made a huge difference in the hot weather. the hostel's proximity to a night market and convenience store was convenient, and I loved seeing all the cute cats around.
